台東縣成功鎮新港區漁會源起1933年的「新港漁業組合」，1935年隸屬「台東廳水產會」，為半官方的機構。1938年改組為「新港漁業協同組合」，1944年日本頒布「水產業團體法」，再改組為「新港郡漁業會」。1955年，與全台各級漁會同步改稱，正式易名為「新港區漁會」，目前有甲類會員3600人。

JF全国監査機構は、全国漁業協同組合連合会（全漁連）の中に監査のための独立の組織を設け、検証・評価活動の充実・強化により監査対象となる全国のJFグループに属する各組織の透明性や信頼性を向上させるという目的で2008年に設立されました。
